Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect almost nothing, we sell nothing, and we email you only if you asked us to.

What we collect. Two things, both voluntary: your name and email if you join the quiet list, and your name, email and message if you use the contact form. Both are processed by Netlify Forms (our website host) and stored securely in our site dashboard. That's the lot — no accounts, no profiles, no advertising trackers.

Cookies and analytics. This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served by Google Fonts and the map on our Find Us page is embedded from Google Maps; loading those pages means your browser talks to Google, whose own privacy policy applies to that traffic.

How we use it. The mailing list gets occasional emails — new bakes, seasonal menus, the odd announcement — a handful a year, never more. Contact messages are used only to reply to you. We never sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Your rights. Under UK GDPR you can ask at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email hello@thequietcup.co.uk and it's done. You can leave the mailing list by replying "unsubscribe" to any email.

Who's responsible. The data controller is The Quiet Cup, 121 Lee Road, Blackheath, London SE3 9DS ([legal entity name — TBC]). If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk — but we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.
